Insights Conference – North America

Volunteer Activity: Sunday, May 16 from 9:00am – 4:00pm (optional activity)

This year we will be hosting a volunteer event at Optimist Youth Home and Family Services in Highland Park in Los Angeles which provides comprehensive treatment, specialized education and support services to abused, neglected and at-risk children and their families. The mission at Optimist is to give all children a chance at a bright future by combining therapy, education and a nurturing residential living environment.

Our volunteer project will be to renovate the common areas on the Optimist campus where students hang-out and where they meet with their visiting families. Our tasks will include: renovating outside sitting areas, painting wall murals, and planting greenery. All materials and tools will be provided, as well as transportation and lunch. There is no charge for the event. All you need to do is show up ready to lend a hand!

Welcome Reception: Sunday, May 16, 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Kick off the conference by meeting and greeting your fellow conference attendees. Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while getting to know your conference peers.

Monday Evening: Monday, May 17, 6:45pm – 10:00pm
