Fundtech Insights Conference - London provides customers with a unique opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with peers. Keynote Speaker: Mark Gallagher

Mark Gallagher has worked in Formula One and the international motor racing industry for 30 years, enjoying a successful career in team and driver management including on the management board of both the Jordan and Jaguar/Red Bull Racing F1 teams. Having headed the Cosworth Formula One business for the last two years, supplying engines and electronics to many F1 teams, it was announced at the beginning of January 2012 that Mark is taking his own team into World Championship sports car racing and Formula One during the next two years.

Starting his career in journalism and broadcasting with organisations including the BBC, Mark quickly graduated to team management in 1990 with the creation of the Jordan Grand Prix Formula One team, where he was part of the management board until 2003. After heading the commercial department of Jaguar and Red Bull Racing in 2004/05, Mark started his own team - Status Grand Prix - winning the World Cup of Motorsport in 2009, graduating to GP3 - the feeder series to F1 - and forming a World Championship sports car programme in partnership with renowned racing car manufacturer Lola Cars.

During his long career Mark has worked closely with some of most famous drivers in Formula One including Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, Nigel Mansell and Jenson Button, while he has also acted as a consultant for major corporate sponsors. He also acted as industry consultant for Disney Pixar during the making of CARS The Move and CARS II.
